Death Becomes Her (4K disc) 1992 movie directed by Robert Zemeckis.  The
movie stars Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn as two aging frenemies who were
fighting over Bruce Willis' affections, but when they discover a magic
potion that will keep then eternally alive (no matter what) wackiness
ensues.  I know I saw this in the theater in 1992 when it first came
out, but I'm not sure if I ever watched it again after that.  I just
recall at the time not caring for it.  But I decided to give it a second
chance.  It was slightly better than I remembered.

I remember having seen this is theater too. It was a little fun but
absurdly over the top. The comedy was too broad. I liked The Witches of
Eastwick more, also over the top but an effort at a plot. I never read
that John Updike novel.

I've never been motivated to rewatch either.

Forrest Gump (4K disc) 1994 movie directed by Robert Zemeckis.  The
movie stars Tom Hanks and Robin Wright.  The two play star-crossed
lovers who keep running into and away from each other over the years, as
Hanks also manages to influence or participate in just about every major
event in the U.S. between the 60s and 80s.  This is another movie that
I'm not sure if I've watched since the original release.  In this case,
I know I liked it when it first came out, I've just had zero interest in
ever watching it again.  I bought the blu-ray and it sat unopened in the
shrink wrap for years, until I upgraded to the 4K which also sat
unopened in the shrinkwrap for years, until now.

Saw this in theater too. It made enough of an impression I've never
rewatched.

Flight (blu-ray) 2012 movie directed by Robert Zemeckis.  The movie
stars Denzel Washington as an alcoholic airline pilot who, in spite of
being drunk and high on cocaine, manages to crash land a malfunctioning
airplane with only a handful of fatalities, while all the simulations
say everyone should have died.  This is an excellent movie, and which
features Denzel bringing his A-game.  The movie also reunites Denzel
with John Goodman, who plays Denzel's drug dealer, who knows just which
combination of drugs will sober him up.

This is one of my favorite Denzel Washington performances. The script
had some problems.
