At a shareholders' meeting 5/3/2025, Warren Buffet announced that he's
retiring at the end of 2025. Berkshire Hathaway vice president Greg
Abel, who has been running portions of the company for years, was
designated as successor. Abel hasn't been managing insurance nor
directing where the enormous piles of cash go, so he'll take that over.
Buffet gave Abel the ultimate vote of confidence, by saying ne's keeping
his cash in the company.
Abel was not told in advance. Hahahahaha

An "early retirement" at, what?, 90?!! ;)
By tnd of the year he’ll be 95.
How can he afford to retire?! He's only got $147billion ... that's barely enough to buy two packets of butter and a box of eggs these days. :-(
