Jury will not reign in cops who were bad actors in death of Tyre
Nichols.

Two other officers had pled guilty to state and federal charges. Defense
strategy? Blame them.
Here's an attorney's thoughts about the jury.

The incident happened January 7, 2023. Nichols dies of injuries he
sustained three days later.
Well, if he sustained the injuries three days later, how could that be
attributable to what the cops did to him, right or wrong?
Ok, ok, I left out the date of death. The trauma inflicted by the five
cops was at the incident on the 7th. He died of those injuries three
days later.
The three former police officers were already convicted of federal
charges, but federal sentencing for all five has been delayed till the
trial on state charges ended.
