Palestine protestors are now pleading to be let out of the Columbia University
Library, which they invaded earlier, as officials block them from leaving
without showing their ID first.
 
Those who refuse to provide ID are being arrested on the spot.

What ID are they being asked for? Student ID to prove they are a student
at that campus and are entitled to use the library? Or papers to prove
their citizenship with non-Americans getting held inside, presumably so
they can be arrested for trespassing?
