Yes, but you aren't trying to deliver some sort of message with your
time as a passenger. While that was very much the message the celebs
were trying to deliver. It failed because they didn't actually do
anything. It might be very different if they had gone to the ISS and
actually did some work there. That would have helped sell the message
that women can do this (not that they would have been the first) that
they apparently wanted to push.

As it was they delivered the message that women can be passengers.

And I totally fail to see how one's gender affects that fact so why
the H is it "sexist and disrespectful to do so"?

Because they thought their trip was more important than it was. I
don't know how they convinced themselves that an all women passenger
flight was something special but they did. As I said above, maybe if
they had gone to the space station to do some work the message might
have worked but not with what they did.

I mean, truthfully, the craft could have been full of babies or
puppies and it would have been just as successful.
