Chicago PD - I swear - every season finale of this show I have ever seen
is the same - they are always "Voight episodes", and in every single one
of them some corrupt higher up in Chicago's PD is always trying to shut
down Voight's Intelligence unit! In this one, Voight takes care of the
problem by having the higher up executed in front of a bunch of fellow
cops!! Wow. At least they're not getting away from the "Voight is really
a bad guy" origin story!

This is the only 'bad guy' thing he's done in the last five seasons and here
he's only being a bad guy to an even worse guy.

Ever since the BLM Summer of Love, Voight has been seriously retconned into a
by-the-book everyone-has-rights model cop. He frequently lectures the rest of
the squad when they cut corners or do anything against policy. His 180-degree
retcon and his woke preachiness almost made me drop the show.

... I reiterate again, though - Burgess (Marina Squerciati) cannot carry this
show alone!

Show's not. They have Ruzek, Atwater, Torres, and Cook on the squad and Platt
working the desk. No one actor 'carries' the show.

 They need another hottie in
the cast ASAP!... Anyway, at the end, Burgess and Ruzek get married. [roll]
