that button for a dose of morphine when the pain got to be too much. I
suddenly understood why people got addicted to drugs. It was also why I mostly
gritted through the pain as much as I could and avoided using the pain-killer

I've never been in a situation where I needed anything stronger than aspirin but I live in fear that I will one day have some kind of accident or illness that necessitates some serious pain relief. I will want to resist taking them under any circumstances but I feel sure that if the pain is really bad, I'll clamour for relief and the doctor will give it to me. According to the video, it's EXTREMELY hard to kick opiods because you're in incredible pain if you DON'T take them when you get a craving. I don't know if I'd be strong enough to kick it then.

  BUT you inevitably fail to
recapture it because subsequent highs are never as good. However, the
opiods are so addictive that you'll suffer incredible withdrawal
symptoms if you try to resist your next use of opiods, especially fentanyl.

There are a LOT of comments below the video reinforcing the message in
this video and a great many of them praised the video for being the best
explanation they'd ever seen for why fentanyl is so seductive but also
