Interesting. When Lifetime starting advertising that a Kelly Sullivan flick was coming up, I just assumed it was the 2024 flick she did that was already on Tubi ("Deadly Justice"). But, nope - this is an entirely new LMN flick.

  Mountainhead              (movie)           (8 pm, HBO)
Written and directed by 'Succession' creator Jesse Armstrong, 'Mountainhead' is another darkly comedic examination of greed and ambition among the wealthy elite. The HBO original film (and feature directorial debut from Armstrong) finds a group of billionaire friends gathering at a mountain retreat in the midst of a global financial crisis. Steve Carell, Jason Schwartzman, Ramy Youssef, and Cory Michael Smith head a cast that also includes Andy Daly, Ali Kinkade, and Hadley Robinson. It's a quick turnaround for a film that only finished shooting last month, but today just happens to be the cutoff date for Emmy eligibility.
1h 48m.
Interesting backstory, but I'm not interested in the film.

The Thirteenth Wife: Escaping Polygamy (Part 1)         (movie) (8 pm, Lifetime Channel)

As a journalist probes her for the truth, Rena recounts her forced marriage to the cult’s abusive leader, Ervil LeBaron, and her journey through manipulation, violence, and survival. With the weight of her past threatening to consume her new life, she is forced to face her role in the cult’s crimes and must decide whether to expose the truth or retreat into silence. Stars Felicity Huffman [present-day Rena], Olga Petsa [younger Rena] and Eric Johnson [Ervil LeBaron].
Oh, it's a two-parter? That may kill my interest in watching this then.

Great. I'm sure I will have to fix that...  [sigh]
