The report I read does not mention fatalities so I'm hoping the injuries
aren't too bad although I imagine the psychological trauma is going to
be very difficult to overcome if it can be overcome at all.

In the first three lines, she calls it a blow torch, throwing Molotov
cocktails, and a flamethrower. And then she has the nerve to say this:
 “What’s more, in a time of rising, democracy-threatening misinformation, we
make our fiercely independent journalism free to all, with no paywall – so
that everyone in the US can have access to responsible, fact-based news.”
 She wouldn’t know a fact if she stumbled over it
 

Well, it *is* the Guardian, a strongly left-leaning publication well known for their biases. It just happened to be the first place I saw the story.
And for what it's worth, I read another article which said that the attacker had an improvised flamethrower (adapted from a blowtorch) and Molotov cocktails so she's not actually wrong, just really sloppy in her writing.
