I'm having major conceptual problems with this. The Reagan's aren't just a cop
family. They're an NYPD family. I have a hard time seeing any of them
abandoning the NYPD for another department, especially Boston. It's like a
30-year Yankees fan suddenly switching sides to the Red Sox.

Of course it should have been a new character and not a spinoff. You're
right. However, I am willing to suspend disbelief if Maggie Lawson wears
the cheerleader costume again.
