Re: Complete paranoia about Google manipulation

My brain has completely atrophied and there's nothing there except what
Google has put into it.

I've complained for years that I talk about something in real life or on
Usenet, I type something into the search bar on a browser, and within 3
or 4 keystrokes, the topic comes up as a search suggestion, even if I
think it's obscure. This is evidence that the microchip in my brain is
functioning.

Now, intellectually, in the back of my mind, if I'm listening to a lecture,
I know that it needs to be delivered by a middle-aged dude, out of shape,
ill-fitting suit, thick glasses, balding, with an unpleasant nasal
voice. Otherwise, I'm not listening to the arguments, just reacting to
the speaker.

than me that maybe we could share values, but not too much younger that
we have no possible way of communicating. Long hair, brunette or dark

Now, Google knows this. The same woman has been turning up in my YouTube
feeds all week, either lecturing herself or being interviewed.

an opinion. A CEO looking to merge corporations. Someone like her might
cause me to overlook problems in her company's financial statements.
