Walter explains to Olivia the spores on the bodies are cordyceps fungi. Cordyceps fungi are what cause people to mutate in the Playstation game The Last of Us. This episode premiered 2 years before the game was released. Anna Torv plays the live action version of Tess, a character in the game, in the HBO adaptation that premiered in 2023.

  I'm still going through my DVR looking for the oldest movies still on there, so I watched:
  Round and Round (Hallmark) 2023 (recorded in 2023) Hanukkah movie about a woman (Vic Michaelis) who gets caught in a time loop, waking up every morning, the day of her parent's Hanukkah party where she will be dumped by her boyfriend and conveniently meet a new guy (Byran Greenberg) that same day.  Is it fate?  How many times will she have to go through the loop before she falls in love?  It held my interest well enough.  I liked that she quickly figured out she was in a time loop and decided to actively learn about time loops.  I was a little annoyed that certain events that kept happening and she seemed to make minimal effort to change them.  On the other hand, there was a fire that kept happening no matter what she did, at one point the fire extinguisher itself spontaneously combusted, so it's possible those other things were just going to happen no matter what and they didn't bother to show her making much of an effort to stop it from happening.  Nevertheless, her insisting on doing pretty much the same routine every loop, did seem a little weird.
  Batman (blu-ray) 1966 movie based on the TV series starring Adam West as a man dressed as a bat, who just can't get rid of a bomb.  This was mostly background noise with the writer's commentary.  He had a lot of good stories about the making of the movie and the TV series (he was also a writer for the weekly series).
