I watched:
There?s No Defending Strange New Worlds Anymore
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WtWrwqOdGtU
This must be about the puppet episode. Nobody ever talks about
Strange New Worlds in my YouTube, but the terribleness of this
recent episode has broken into my bubble.
Are puppet episodes ever good? The puppet episode of Angel was
terrible. The puppet episode of Community was terrible.
It's amazing that three different live-action shows have such a
thing as a puppet episode. Why does this keep happening? You'd
think they'd learn.
What did you watch?
I continued watching The Patient, which remains good. I do wonder
how on Earth they're going to wrap this up. I feel like they have
only two real possiblities: an implausible happy ending vs.
everybody dies.
I also started Scream Queens, a sort of dramedy satire of horror
movies. Horror tropes are mashed together in a sorority setting.
There are a lot of characters, but most are comically exaggerated
types who are easy to keep straight.
Scream Queens isn't trying to be consistent or make sense. It's
mostly just comedy and craziness, so I can see why it wasn't on
long, but a small dose has been a lot of fun.
