Renewed means nothing good.  If "renewed" by amazon a lackey reboxed it
without testing.  If third party your odds are less good unless they
sell only speakers.
Further amazon's Community Team is NOT to be trusted as they are both
capricious with legit reviewers and in collusion with sellers to
engineer favorable reviews likely accepting bribes.
Do you require waterproofness to include ability to float?  Or is it
more water proof for occasional shower splashing?
