post here anymore.
My memory has deteriorated badly over the last couple of years (I’m
now in my 86th year).
I couldn't remember either, so I searched the saved messages in my motorsports file for "database." Lots of obvious false positives, but Brian had posted this back in 2001:
Over the last few weeks I have been working on putting the qualifying data
into a database. Having more or less finished this task I have analysed all
drivers qualifying records to produce a more accurate table of the all-time
best qualifiers.
