My specific question is can I use stick-on weights on big steel wheels?
I picked up a tire balancing bubble balance from HF and am balancing my
vehicle wheels, some of which are fancy while others are plain stock steel.
For the fancy 17-inch alloy wheels, there's no place for clip-on weights,
so they get the stickies on the inside wide rim, but for the 15-inch steel
wheels there is a place for everything, including the kitchen sink.
Specifically, the question is can you use stick-on weights on steel wheels?
To get to why I ask, it turns out that my HF only sells the stickies. I can get the clip-ons though at Amazon so I can buy anything out there.

the stickies on the ugly steel wheels or if I should really use clip ons.
