When I cut-n-paste these 8 bit characters from a document into a text
editor or word processor, it appears correctly. However, when I
pasted them into a newsreader (Forte Agent), it sometimes appears
correctly on my screen, but when I read the message as posted, it
produces a question mark or black square.
Try some of the other hearts and see what happens:
