    Who won the worls wars? Even with the US being dragged into WW II kicking and screaming let's remember that GB, France, Australia and Canada were not winning that war. They could hardly stay even.

For the 1914 Great War, everyone lost.
For the 1939 war, Russia clearly won in the European theater and USA in the Pacific. (with many contributions and much suffering from multiple allies all around)
