You might ant to look at https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/
it used numbers per population and is no longer updated. Details on
site.
Example
World cases - 90,413 per 1 million
U.S.A. cases    - 333,985
World deaths - 889.4 per 1 million population
U.S.A. deaths - 3642

And life expectance is number 48 (both sexes) in a list of the world's
countries

No, this tricycle rider understands that there are many reasons other
than health care for life expectancy to be lower in the USA, drugs,
crime, poor eating, and other bad habits (getting fat) being some of
them.

USAians eat processed food with chemicals that color, preserve, and
enhance taste are in a lot of the food on grocery shelves in the USA,
but not in many other countries.  Hopefully, RFK jr is going to work
on that.

Err... you mean like putting salt on pork to preserve it?

No, but they already limit the amount of ratshit in your cheerioes, so
why not limit the amount of chemicals?

I don't know about the breakfast cereal. I haven't eaten that since I
was in my teens

Same here. I've eat Quaker instant oatmeal most mornings. No
artificial crap. They now have one with less sugar, so I go with that
one. Occasionally, I make omelets, and once or twice a week we go out
for breakfast... where I usually, I get an omelet.  I like omelets.

Try

A pesticide linked to reproductive and developmental issues in animals
was found in oat-based foods sold in the U.S., including under major
brand names like Cheerios and Quaker Oats.....

..there are many such issues. In the cited case manufacturers claim
that their product meets government (EPA) requirements. I wouldn't
trust the EPA any more than I trust the people ( Environmental Working
Group (EWG)) who did the study. The EWG recieves it funding from
organic food manufacturers, so I'm not inclined to trust them.

Well,, as you don't trust this mob and you don't trust that mob, then
who do you trust? Some wild eyed bloke on the Internet?

I trust the people I believe to be trustworthy. That would be some,
not all of my relatives, and some, not all of the people I know. I do
not trust the following blokes unless I know them and believe them to
be trustworthy; blokes on the internet, blokes who do studies, and
blokes in the government, or blokes who run for government positions.
