I bought a CR (long arm) Ultrgra rear derailleur. It's and 11 speed but
unlike the 12 speed the pull ratio is the same as the 10 speed.
What's more, the spring on the arm is much lighter than the GRX. The
levers are also very tight so I've bought a set of Ultegra levers that
will be here in a couple of days and I have an 11 speed cassette laying
around so I will install those. They should bleed very easy since I will
go from the bottom up. All of the air is out of the system now, so I only
have to fill the levers. I left enough room on the hoses to replace the olives.
Re the spring on the GRX if you have the clutch on it will be stiff as well
intended to stop chain slap, for road use, rather than Gravel not a whole
lot of reason to have it engaged, it’s also much easier to get wheels out
with the clutch off as the mech will move around easier.
