You have half a dozen people almost constantly pointing out that you are wrong on technical or scientific points - or matters of history, economics, etc. You probably have even more lurkers silently shaking their heads at your nonsense. You rarely have anyone actually agreeing with you.

p.s. in fairness, we were discussing large US cities. There are many medium to small municipalities with relative efficiency and honesty.
