Speaking of CG height, I've been very pleased at how the EV handles curves. On the nearby freeway exit ramp, it feels better at higher speed than the previous Mazda 3, which was no slouch and had a much lower roofline. I suspect the big heavy battery below the floor pan lowers the EV's CG and reduces body roll.

My thoughts as well.  Should approach a Corvair if done right.

 Back in the day with the Corvair (fitted with the widest tires that I could cram in there) I found that I could take most ramps, curves etc. at double the sign-recommended speeds.
 This exit is marked with a yellow 30 MPH recommendation sign. So far the fastest I've taken it is 48 mph. I don't think it's going to be up to Corvair cornering standards.
  

I'm spoiled. Nothing else comes close.
Not as nice these days since Michelin discontinued VR rated 185/80R13 along with all 13" tires.  Those were exceptional.
