Here's the other side of that coin: All the travel programs and articles
that tout the "undiscovered" vacation destinations, the places one
should visit because nobody goes there.

You could ride where there's no traffic but then again the roads are
gravel.

I keep thinking about doing a tour on the many gravel roads in Amish
country about an hour or two away from me. But it will be a while before
I can get away.

Gravel rides nurmally turnj out to be busier than expected. And they do
tend to destroy you paint job The chrome on my Moser downtube is a mess
from using it on gravel.

Kinda depends on busy with whom? Gravel rides at certain times will have
dog walkers I’m expecting a few today as well 17 something and sunny and a
bank holiday. Maybe a few other riders but they generally much lower in
numbers, Richmond and Regent’s Park today will be very busy with bikes.
But even so busy is stretching it, I’m more likely to see more cars on the
roads than walkers let alone bikes.
And well bikes are to be ridden!

There is a California cycling route Mr Kunich might try:
https://nypost.com/2024/05/04/us-news/california-mocked-over-high-speed-rail-bridge-to-nowhere-that-took-9-years-to-build/Perfectly smooth surface, limited access, no traffic, no potholes, no overhanging branches, no debris, no gravel, no muggers. It's a whopping 500 meters long and only cost $11,000,000,000,000.00 or so. Be sure to thank Mr Newsom and the chumps who pay taxes,
