Compare this to the 100,000 miles on a Mercedes. Or less for a BMW. Of
course you lose the status of paying $75,000 for a car designhed to break
down and leave you in the middle of nowhere.
 

 
I?m not aware of either Mercedes or BMW being practically mechanically
unreliable, quite the reverse in fact.
 
As ever different cars for different purposes and so on, see also bikes for
similar purposes and rather more on topic and frankly interesting.

That's correct except that the rating came from Consumer Reports for
2000 to 2023 models or other sources, and not from KBB (Kelly Blue
Book), which simply reported what other publications had announced:
