We're all resistant to change, varying only in degree. Some people
welcome changes, while others consider change to be some type of
threat. I still have a rubber stamp which prints "Change Everything",
so you can easily guess where I stand. I rather prefer to see some
changes, preferably for the better. I think it's called "progress".

Whether gender neutral should
extend to literally everything is debatable and often entertaining.
For example, try referring to your favorite deity as female and see
where that gets you in the various houses of worship. It's minor
issues, like gender neutrality, which have produced about 45,000
Christian denominations (200 in the US):
