No one is trying to 'win' anything here except you. You make stupid and
factually incorrect statements and we correct you on them.
I think that Tom is winning. I'm getting tired of correcting his
misunderstandings of literally everything. Every posting has
something wrong with it. Every posting is also liberally laced with
unsubstantiated accusations and derogatory insults, all of which I
ignore. Providing corrections for Tom has become a tedious, thankless
and time consuming task. I enjoy doing it, but cannot afford the
time. I'm not sure if I want to continue correcting Tom. I'm not
quite ready to declare that Tom has won the battle and abandon RBT, as
others have done. Maybe I'm just curious to see how it ends.
I'm fairly certain that Tom intentionally posts wrong information to
attract attention. Should he accidentally post something that's
correct, nobody will comment. But, if he makes a mistake, he will get
attention in the form of corrections. In other words, Tom doesn't
care if he's right or wrong, only that he gets his daily dose of
attention.
We had about 3 weeks of productive not-acerbic discussions when you were
gone recently. No inane political off-topic bullshit, no personal attacks.
Yep. It was good. The message count was down, but the signal to
noise ratio was much improved.

What is going on with me is that I have finally
hit my limit with lunatics like you. It reminds
me of teaching and always having to coddle the
dope at the back of the class who has to blurt
out some nonsense answer. One finally gets tired
of saying, "well. Jimmy, I guess Jesus could have
walked with the dinosaurs in Texas . . . "
Now its "Jimmy, you're a f****** lunatic. You
need serious mental health care. Go get that
immediately." As Sir says, I should really just
ignore you, but since I'm on a coffee break,
what the hell.
So, in conclusion, STFU. At least try to post on
a technical subject, and when doing that, don't
spew nonsense numbers, made-up facts, speculation,
etc., etc.
