Yep. One person (you) said you got tinnitus from the vaccine. Another
person (me) said I did not. I backed my anecdote up with another three.

Did Mr. Krygowski write that? I confess to not reading everything
posted here. If he did, he has certainly fallen below the standard I
would expect of an engineering professor
I hope we can agree that if there were, say, one serious side effect per
10,000 doses that the cost/benefit ratio of the mRNA shot would be too
high. This is especially true for young, healthy people for whom the
benefit is very near zero.
Given that ratio, if you and 99 of your friends (who would probably
relate a side effect to you) manage to escape them, that should not be
much of a surprise at all. The likelihood of none of 100 random people
getting a side effect is roughly (not exactly) 99%.
But, if a person out of the fairly small Usenet community which you find
yourself a member reports a serious side effect that is a more
meaningful data point, since the likelihood of that happening is roughly
1%, supposing the number of members around 100. So it is a much more
surprising result.
Mr. Krygowski is well known for his attitude that, if something
didn't happen to him then anyone reporting of it must be stupid or
lying.
My wife's girlfriend of nearly 60 years, being a yellow dog Democrat,
eagerly signed up for the shots as soon as it became clear that they
would be healthful Biden shots, and not dodgy Trump shots. She
developed tachycardia that lasted for several days, serious enough that
she consulted a doctor. But she did it again, and it happened again,
only somewhat worse. After the first or second booster (I forget) she
presented at the emergency room. Now she goes around grumbling about
the "number needed to treat", which is quite large, and acts pretty sore
about the whole thing.
Did she suffer permanent heart damage? I don't know and neither does
she. The worrisome thing is that no one in the medical establishment
has any interest whatsoever in the question.
The whole forced covid shot fiasco is a real black mark against the US
medical system. The shots might perhaps have benefitted people in the
Usenet demographic, but there is absolutely no excuse for forcing them
on children and pregnant women. The Pfizer clinical trials for children
were absurd -- they did not even try to demonstrate any actual health
benefit; their endpoint was an increase in a lab measurement of blood
antibodies. There were no clinical trials for pregnant women, at all,
and yet the shot was pushed on them, sometimes as a condition of
employment. I'm sure many of those thalidomide moms had perfectly
normal children as well.
