It's almost like the dozens of "election fraud" cases that failed over and over, even when presided over by Republican judges. And the 34 recent "Guilty. Guilty. Guilty" findings against Trump, by 12 jurors who were accepted by lawyers from both sides.
Sorry, Andrew, I think your whitewash coating is far too thin.
I'm thinking about your bike shop. I imagine that if a gang of people smashed in your windows and doors and started making themselves at home, you'd be in favor of jailing anyone inside your building. Even those who "innocently" crawled through a broken window to just look at the fun happening inside.
I think the U.S. Capitol deserves far, far more respect and protection than your bike shop, _especially_ when a constitutionally mandated ceremony is taking place.
