Offhand, I can't think of any. Maybe simulated cobblestones? Painted
broken glass, beer cans and debris near the road edges to remind
riders not to ride too close to the edges? Maybe a long linear sign
with "Eyes ahead, not down"?
How about, "if you can read this, you're about to run into something?"
That's what I originally was going to suggest. However, I realized
that if the rider were reading something that long, they would have
crashed into something, driven off the road, wandered off into a
ditch, etc. Therefore, I contrived something shorter.
