Questiuon: why do my Chinese copies of Campay inners have to be readjusted so many tomes before they stop stretching?because you don't know what you're doing.
These ARE Campy wires with ends that aren't acceptable to campy (they have mold marks which enlarge the ends)If they have ends that aren't' compatible with campy shifters then they aren't campy cables, dumbass
I can hardly believe that Campagnolo would make those wires for dollars in Italy rather than buy them for pennies in China. There are a lot of things that are true that you refuse to believe.
Most of those Chinese wires do not have the mold marks and have no problems. So it's only camp wires in campy shifters that have the problem...got it.
And the only problem I had was when Campy changed to the 12 speed then made the reciever in the reel so small that there was no excess clearance.Right, campy designed shifters that are incompatible with their cables....got it
The Shimano wires so far have not "stretched" at all and do not need readjustment. That's becasue shifter cables don't stretch.
I used them on the Colnago and it still shifts fine. Claiming that Shimano wires work on Campy is a bit strange since the ends are significantly larger.Sure, use incompatible cable/shifter combinations. That'll work every time!
I pulled the Fondriest out yesterday and put thin spacers under the bottom and top split crowns and the headset adjusted correctly. The shifting had stopped working so I simply turned the front derailleur which had become cocked inwards back out straight and it shhifted perfectly. Now you have front derailleurs that mysteriously rotate on their own? Was this before or after the dent in the top tube popped out from riding the bike?
It seems to me that sealed bearing headsets are a great deal more sensitive to setup than the older caged bearings and continuous crowns.lol....Andrew, care to comment?
