The original of this 6 rounds in 1 minute discussion was
Frankie
seeming assertion that 6 rounds a minute was probably all
that was
possible with common fire arms
"My bet is also that your family never owned a gun that
could fire more than, say, six rounds in a minute. After
all, that capability is essentially useless for almost all
hunting."
Note I said "_more_ than six rounds" and you proudly bragged
about being able to shoot only six.
Note that I did not claim such guns were not common. I said
I bet your family did not own one. That's not the same
thing, John.
And I said such capability was useless for almost all hunting.
If you could have, you would by now have detailed shooting a
family gun _more_ than six times in a minute, and doing so
to take game while hunting.
But since you haven't mentioned it, we can conclude those
have never happened. Just as I said.
All of my firearms can meet that standard, including with
reload on the revolver. As do girlfriend's inherited and
worn out Win 30 1890s lever action, the same model from the
1950s also worn out, and her .22 rifle. It's a ridiculous
standard.
