issued" a patent.  You "register" a trademark or copyright.  Nice

No, Tommy is correct I did use the term "B-50" when the correct term
was RB-50, a recognizance airplane, not a bomber. BUT we flew missions
up and down the cost of China and the Russian islands north of Japan
that are still classified today.

But I would also say that when A.F. people talk about airplanes they
say, "B-52, DC-3, etc. Not B-52A or B-52H or DC-3, not a DC-3A, or
DS-3A.
