You need a password and username.(get that by emailing ET and
confirming their email reply to you).
Once you have that, connect to news.eternal-september.org
using SSL and port 563.
Then you need to download a list of all available newsgroups.
Select rec.bicycles.tech from the list and subscribe.
Then you can "get all available headers" for the group.
It's more or less the same for any newsreader.
