You rant about the AR's but not a peep about the drunks.
Part of the difference is that we don't have posters
here regularly
praising drunk driving. We do have about three posters
regularly
praising the public use of ARs, and the great value of
owning one.

Even though two of those posters don't themselves own one!
More lies.

I believe that myself and Andrew are the two main people
that talk
about the dreaded AR's but I don't remember any one
"praise" them...
Oh. I thought you were in favor of them. That would seem
to imply you
think they have good qualities.
I don't believe I ever implied that I was in favor of AR
types, but I
would add that neither do I oppose them. Nor ever voiced
such a
belief, or (again from memory) do I remember Andrew doing
so although
I do remember his showing a picture of his wife/
girlfriend's AR.

But I must admit that your stated belief that it is
perfectly normal,
and you apparently condone, drunk drivers and other law
breakers
killing kill kids with automobiles while killing a far
smaller number
with an AR is terrible, terrible.

It seems, at best irrational, to say the least.
Nope, you're losing track of the logic again.

Many years ago, we had one poster here who bragged about his
chaotic bicycling behavior, including riding while very
drunk. He's long gone. But even he did not post in favor of
drunk driving. If someone did, I'd argue against them.

We do have people posting in favor of essentially
unrestricted public possession of rifles capable of rapidly
killing dozens of people. I argue against them, because I
see the societal disadvantages greatly exceeding the
(nonexistent!) societal advantages.

Nice summary of your oft-expressed views.
Others do not see the issues similarly.
many, many firearms are capable, or capable with an easily purchased
part, of doing everything that an AR can do.
I'm guessing but I suspect that the use of the AR for school shooting
may be due to them being so cheap to buy and school kids don't have
much money. I see AR's for about $400 and in comparison a REMINGTON
7600 CARBINE 30-06 19 INCH " BARRELis is over $1,000.
