Others do not see the issues similarly.
The frustrating thing is that I've told him and you've told him that
many, many firearms are capable, or capable with an easily purchased
part, of doing everything that an AR can do.
I'm guessing but I suspect that the use of the AR for school shooting
may be due to them being so cheap to buy and school kids don't have
much money. I see AR's for about $400 and in comparison a REMINGTON
7600 CARBINE 30-06 19 INCH " BARRELis is over $1,000.
