It appears that bicyclists and pedestrians in that part of town should
be carrying guns. It never seemed to a problem area when I was there.
Willy street was a fun place to go.
Nope. As Frank will tell you (without even being asked) that it is
far, far, better to be punched in the nose then to exhibit your fear
by carrying a gun.
Frank will say that some people have a greatly exaggerated fear of being
punched in the nose. Those fearful people are more likely to carry a gun.

I'll bet that only one person posting here would carry a gun even if
they were to meet Tom Kunich face to face. I'm picking him because he's
promised bodily harm to several posters. But I don't believe even he
would actually do it.
Other people would say that simply having a gun in your home will get
you shot.
Only idiots who chose to be willfully ignorant of the what the
statistics actually reoport (that would be you)

show that Massachusetts, for example, has a firearm homicide rate of
1.4/100,000 and a gun in the home rate of 9% while your next door
neighbor Maine has a home gun rate of 48% and a homicide rate of 0.09.
Idaho has 1.5 homicide rate and 56% guns in home.
On the other hand, Mississippi has a homicide rate of 19.8 and a
home gun rate of 54%, and Louisiana is 20,4 with 52% in homes.
Its much more complex then just guns in the house and shootings.
