People that can get anything from college are few and far between.

What an odd statement! Posted, I'll note, by a guy who didn't even
finish high school. Countless employers seem to disagree.

What happens to Frank's wonderful teachers retirement when
Youngstown University goes broke because they have NO students?

Not that it matters. YSU no longer pays me anything. It's all done
by the State Teacher's Retirement System, which just sent out an
email that they're giving a bonus extra payment this year, because
of excellent investment results.

If Frank had remained programming mechanical mechanisms he could
have made enough money to be financially independent.

I'll admit, I don't have experience "programming mechanical
mechanisms."
Are you thinking of a Babbage Computer??

Frank has to worry about the numbers of trade schools that are
going to eat him out of house and home.

?? Do trade schools break into people's houses and eat their food?
Really?

Curious that Youngstown had a boom in enrollment AFTER you left. What
do you suppose the reason for that is?
>
"Just after I left?" Tom, I've been retired for well over a decade.
Sheesh!
And Obama and Biden have driven up the debt for a college education
usually that no one can use so that what is surprising is that ANYONE
would enroll in Youngstown.
It's surprising only to you.
Frank, you can pretend that a college education is your guarantee of
success but you couldn't even work as a MAINTENANCE plant engineer. Since
you could not work as a real engineer you became a college teacher. So you
got NOTHING from your degree! My wife was a teacher that taught largely at
private schools from which the students graduating had educations superior
to that of today's "college graduates" and since they were largely
Christian schools, the cost of these schools was often less than the cost
of a 2 year degree from Youngstown.
Why do you feel the need to support a college that cranks out worthless
degrees?
That aside - Abbott has partnerships with a DOZEN companies to MAKE their
production of things like emergency fast acting insulin pens that are
filled with insullin. You and your stupid friend Flunky and Liebermann who
believes himself to be Einstein want to argue that I am wrong about things
you haven't the vauguest idea about. All of the main Abbott buildings are
EMPTY. Except for the building on SOUTHloop drive that makes glucose
monitoring system and a building on NORTHloop drive that is a shipping and
receiving for the moitoring system. Stop pretending that empty parking
lots at the Airport Blvd buildings are meaningless.
Maybe you can pretend that an epipen-like item that is sold for MANY
conditions is ONLY used for allergic reactions.
