Its Lower Flammability Limit (LFL) is 1.4% and its Upper Flammability Limit (UFL) is 7.6%. That means that you can extinguish a gas fire simply by cutting off its access to oxygen with CO2 or even water which can spread gasoline so thinly that the gas concentration is below the flammible limit.
