which is a lie. The "chief engineer for self driving" (which is a position that does not exist) said 'hey there's some random unemployed dude in almeda who says self-driving cars can't work, I think I'll call him'. Yeah, that sounds plausible.

He did not like my suggestions about renaming the AI from self driving to something else and ended up hanging up on me.

If that's where the conversation ended up, it's no wonder he hung up on tommy. Engineering staff very rarely have any input - or even any concern - over what Marketing chooses to call the product.

But since there are many, many engineers at Tesla, I imagine one of them had worked with me in the past.
