I notice the 5 year guarantee and laugh a bit. My Titanium Habby had a guarantee of 5 years too. Ny guess is now 8 years later it will still outlive the Basso? In 8 years everyone slows down even he pros. You would think they would go to Ti in retirement, I still think it is the best bike frame.
I was once charmed by the idea of a titanium frame, mostly because it's likely to never fail, never corrode. But the Cannondale's 6061 Aluminum has worked out well, except for one "failure": It needed its paint replaced after only 30-something years.
