I ran across this Youtube video.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NnSWDKfT7FQThe dual chains caught my eye. It appears to be a bicycle aimed at the
third world market. Simple, robust and easy to use and fix and a nice low
gear.
I hope they put "slime" in the tubes then....
CalFee bikes is located near me and he made bikes out of bamboo for locally
built cheap transportation for the masses...although some of his stuff is
pretty pricey for US consumption.
Maybe this is ruggeder than the old Bendix two speed hub, but it still does
utilize a two speed hub. They have a repair and distribution network,
apparently. So I wish them well.
