Agreed. "Influencers" who do hyper-risky tricks to gain followers and
make money do nobody any good. They probably inspire other fools to lose
at risky tricks. And as in this case, they trigger public spending to
rescue them from their failures.
I’d suggest can be more nuanced, that they say influencer before say MTBer
makes me wonder how prepared he was? Certainly some of the YouTube folks
such as GCN or the MTB guys have had fairly serious injuries or high risks
showing some places/events
