 Nope, ain't true as nearly  all States demand a collage education plus
1 year's experience before they let you take the engineering test.

And John, a college education in engineering is open to everyone. So are jobs in engineering. Or at least, those things are open to everyone with enough intelligence. I assume you chose not to pursue those things, just as I chose not to pursue formal shooting competitions.
