How much lever pull is there supposed to be on modern disc brakes. The
old original brakes used to have half of the lever distanceto full
braking while the Ultegra I have is using almost 7/8ths full lever pull.
The brake pads have very little wear and the brake pistons appear to be
extending all the way up to very close to the discs. I'm waiting for a
front derailleur now which is kind of weird. I bought a new one for $27
and used one were selling for twice that.
That’s too much I’d a) check you’ve bleed the brakes correctly and b) check
for adjustment of the bite point which some levers do have.
