That rings a bell. I remembe there being some sort of adjustment for
lever pull but forget where it is. Can you expand on that?
Andrew is probably more your man! I have no idea how consistent the
adjustment has been and I don’t know which shifter you have!

Would get you started but I don’t know if all shimano shifters use same
system as been few years now since hydraulic moved to road, so enough time
for some variables!
