I thought Id try out the CWP-7 Park tool crank puller that came in the
mail today. It says it's for Isis splined shaft, but they lie. It
lacks the cap to goes on the insert end that I see on other crank
pullers. I see another Park Tool Crank puller with the same name that
has a big knob attached on the insert end. First time I've been
disappointed by ParK Tool. I bought another one from another company
that has the cap. ...at half the Park Tool price.
Big apologizes to Park Tool. The CWP-7 Park tool crank puller has two
rotating tips. The big one for Isis BBs is on the back end of the tool
and pulls off to replace the smaller tip on the "bussiness" end. It
might have said that on the directions which went straight into the
trash after I opened it.
So, has this experience convinced me to read the directions, now?
Not a chance of that.
