Alas, the set has serious problems. The problem is the oversize chain ring guard, which has to go. I had to raise the front shifter so that it would clear the guard and that created problems with the 28 tooth ring. I've given up trying to find a setup where the shifting works smoothly for all three rings. I got it to shift to and from the 28 tooth, but it rattles and clanks. I don't plan on using the 28 much, but I want it to work right. I may swap the chain ring guard off the old cranks and I finally found a decent guard for sale on Ebay to use on either one. More dirty fingers tomorrow.
