I suspect that Mr. Andrew has never had the problem with his "Fixi"
either :-)

 
Wait....  The shifter locks up? Maybe I'm naive, but I don't see any
reason for having the shifter lock up because it thinks you crashed.
 
Maybe someone will enlighten me?
