I was riding home from work at night, descending a super steep one block hill in the center of the city (steep enough that the road has since been closed). I was riding very slowly because of the heavy dose of road salt on the hill. At one spot I suddenly realized that the debris in front of me was not salt, but broken glass. When I turned to avoid it, my front wheel slid out on the salt.
