In 2024, in 22 countries, Garmin sold about $700 million in bicycle
computers. That doesn't sound like a manufacturer of "small time

The "automatic process" is handled automatically by the version
control software, RCS (Revision Control System), SCM (Source Control
Management software), etc, which have been in common use by both large
and small companies for a very long time:
