censorship, but if you're not running for political office, freedom of

 You were in the USAF in the early 1960's.  That's about 60 years ago.
If you had done some classified research during the 1960's, it surely
would have been de-classified by now.

He didn't. If he did, he should be able to at least recall the subject matter and summarize the abstract of the papers here - and as you note, it would have been declassified long ago.

Correction - drunken driving accident. Tom may have had a bike accident, but that wasn't the incident that was coincident with his two year gap. I'm pretty convinced he did jail time for that since an arrest warrant was issued for him for failure to appear for his drunk driving charge. This would explain his lack of presence in forums as well as his complaint that he had to sell all his bike stuff (to pay the fines).

 Baloney.  You hate anyone and everyone with a degree, probably
including post graduate students.

I also note he claims to have this "extreme high voltage experience" yet nothing in his resume show that experience. Then too he claims they needed "super accurate timing". If they were interested in critical timing measurements, I think it's safe to assume that anyone with tommy's alleged credentials wouldn't have a much of a learning curve to be able to contribute (because a recent college graduate is more desirable for critical control systems than a season profession in the specific area of expertise...lol).
For all intents and purposes, the statement "I had been hired there for my extreme high voltage experience and what they really needed was very high voltage and super accurate timing" is just more self-aggrandizing bullshit.  He may have gotten an interview because of the embellishments on his resume (spelling and factual errors therein notwithstanding) but he never actually worked at NASA, LLRL, LBNL, or Analog Devices.

Not to mention that the accelerator was a VERY borring project. Measuring the charge delay in a length of wire is hardly high technology.

 Electrical charge does not move and therefore does not have a delay.
The only charge that has a delay are my credit (charge) card billing.
